We provide all structural materials for a complete log home package, starting with your concrete, to the roof sheathing. All exterior trim is provided, as well as trim against the log walls. Floor system, roof system, deck, railing, you name it. click on the materials line below to see what we provide.

We also produce an easy to follow, complete construction guide to building one of our log homes, starting with the concrete plan. Whether you are a seasoned professional log home builder, or have never even built a framed garage, but can read plans and a tape, and have some normal tools, you can build one of these. We want you to read this, and build it the way it shows. If you can come up with some way to build that is better (in any way), to building our homes, we will give you a hundred bucks. Trust us. Turn Key Estimate is a good idea for your log home kit

What other expenses are there besides my land to figure the cost to build my own log cabin, hiring all help or doing some work myself?

We call them a Log Hybrid, where you have all the features, materials and look of a log home, but have a framed outer wall, with full profiled log siding, instead of a log wall. Many worry about settling, or desire a flat interior wall for their home, and can’t get around that. They want all the features and ambiance, and love a log home, but only in certain areas. All our materials are the same, with exception the exterior wall being a 2×6 wall with sheathing and wrap, and putting log siding on. You still have the same trim, the same decks with log railing, the same massive character logs inside, the same look of the rough sawn trim, fascia, soffit, ceiling, lofts, beams, flooring, basically everything. Easy! We have done several of these, and they are indeed unique and beautiful, just like all our designs! Browse through these and we can design around your needs and budget. We work up a customized turn key estimate for our customers, and base numbers on similar log homes, and try to get the most accurate numbers from you as well on what you know, so that you can have a track to run on when figuring costs to build. The site work is an unknown (road in, power to the site, well, septic, things related specifically to your property, and not the home build. Some costs can be entered into the turn key if somewhat known, like well depths in the area, cost per foot to drill, distance a road is needed and how much gravel, excavation of the site, power distance, things like that. As far as the home, sometimes our customers want higher end finishes in the baths and kitchen, others want to save everywhere they can, so some input is needed by you.
