About This Model

The Cape Cod Log Timber Frame Hybrid is designed for customers who love the look and feel of log but prefer flat interior walls, no settling, and maximum design flexibility. These hybrid homes still feature massive character posts, log stairsets, log prow posts, interior and exterior tongue-and-groove ceilings and soffits, and rough-sawn trim — delivering authentic log character without the limitations of a full log home. This is the best of both worlds: better pricing than a full timber frame, more efficient thermal mass from larger logs, and the quality materials Lazarus is known for.

Why Choose the Cape Cod Log Timber Frame Hybrid?

This model offers long covered porches on both sides, big and long shed dormers in the loft, a large balcony for spectacular views, and extensive decking on a big footprint. It combines the classic Cape Cod aesthetic with practical hybrid construction for comfort, efficiency, and curb appeal.

Note: Final pricing depends on log wall size, lumber market conditions, and requested modifications.
